Pro-Lab Diagnostics Corporate Film

Pro-Lab Diagnostics: Our Success Story is a corporate brand film created to introduce the company, its people and its work. In particular, the film explores how Pro-Lab manufactures and distributes in-vitro diagnostic kits, laboratory equipment and reagents.

I worked as Director of Photography and Drone Operator on the production. During the one-day Liverpool shoot, I collaborated with director Ben Schaffer and the Zinc Media production team.

Corporate Cinematography in Liverpool

The visual approach combined carefully composed interviews with supporting workplace footage. As a result, the film could communicate detailed information while retaining a human and engaging style.

As DOP, I managed the lighting, camera placement and lens choices throughout the shoot. In addition, I worked closely with the director to ensure the interviews and supporting sequences served the wider story.

My experience providing Director of Photography services helped us move efficiently between interviews, workplace sequences and exterior coverage within the one-day schedule.

Camera, Gimbal and Drone Coverage

The Sony FS7 formed the main camera package and captured the principal footage in 4K. Meanwhile, the Sony A7S II and DJI Ronin provided a compact setup for smooth moving shots around the location.

We also used a DJI Mavic 2 Pro to capture aerial establishing footage of the site and surrounding area. As a result, these wider views added scale and placed the Pro-Lab Diagnostics facility within its Liverpool setting.

Furthermore, my licensed drone filming services allowed the production to combine ground-based cinematography and aerial coverage within one coordinated package.

Crew and Equipment Support

Alongside my DOP and drone responsibilities, Tomorrow’s Creative supplied specialist crew and equipment for the shoot. Specifically, the package included the camera, gimbal, drone and sound equipment required for the production.

This support allowed us to work as an extension of Zinc Media while maintaining the creative and technical standards required for the finished film. Consequently, the production benefited from an efficient local setup and one coordinated equipment package.

Finally, if you need a DOP, camera crew or filming package for a corporate production, please contact me to discuss your project.
