Complete Camera and Lighting Package
As a lighting cameraman with kit in the North East, I provide professional camera, lighting, sound and grip equipment for commercials, branded content, documentaries, interviews and corporate productions.
Supplying both the operator and equipment creates a simpler and more efficient setup for producers, agencies and production companies. It also means I can tailor the package to the brief, location and crew size before filming begins.

Sony Cinema Camera Kit
My principal camera package centres on the Sony FX9. Its full-frame sensor, built-in electronic variable ND and professional audio connections make it suitable for interviews, documentary filming, commercials and fast-moving location work.
The compact Sony FX3 is also available for second-camera coverage, gimbal work, restricted locations and native vertical filming. Using both cameras allows me to create a flexible multicamera package while maintaining a consistent Sony colour workflow.
My lens options include Sony G Master zooms and fast prime lenses. I can also provide tripods, monitors, wireless video equipment, camera support and media. You can view a broader overview on my camera and production kit page.
Lighting, Sound and Grip Equipment
Good equipment choices should support the story without slowing down the production. Therefore, I select each lighting package around the location, visual style and practical demands of the shoot.
My lighting equipment includes powerful Aputure LED fixtures, soft modifiers, smaller LED panels, stands, flags and grip. This allows me to create anything from a controlled interview setup to a lightweight package for fast-moving location filming.
I can also supply radio microphones, a professional shotgun microphone and location sound accessories. Gimbals, sliders and other camera-support options are available when the production requires movement.
A Flexible Package for Each Production
Every shoot has different technical requirements. For that reason, I do not use the same equipment package for every job. Instead, I discuss the deliverables, locations, crew, filming style and schedule before recommending the most suitable setup.
Additional cameras, specialist lenses, larger lighting fixtures and experienced crew can also be sourced when required. Furthermore, licensed drone filming can add aerial establishing shots and a stronger sense of scale.
The equipment is supplied as part of my work as an operator. However, I can also integrate with camera and lighting packages provided by the production company or rental house.

Based in South Shields, I work throughout Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham, Northumberland, Middlesbrough, Teesside and the wider North East.
My local base can reduce travel and accommodation costs for visiting production teams. In addition, I can help with equipment planning, realistic travel times and sourcing additional regional crew.
